Privacy policy

The short version: this site doesn't use cookies, analytics, ads or tracking scripts. You only share personal details if you fill in the contact form or the readiness check yourself. The rest of this page explains what happens then, and the few other things that happen when you visit.

Who is responsible

DAFT Guide runs this site. For any privacy question, use the contact form.

What we don't collect

• No cookies of any kind, so there's no cookie banner to click away.
• No analytics or visitor statistics tools.
• No advertising, social media widgets or embedded third-party content.
• No external font or script services: fonts and code are served from this site itself.

One setting stored in your browser

If you close the green announcement bar at the top of the page, your browser remembers that choice with a single local storage entry (announcement-dismissed). It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Links to our bookkeeping partner

Links to Slim Geregeld Administratie include standard tags in the web address (starting with utm_) that tell them which page and which link on this site you came from. That's how a referral partnership is measured. The tags don't contain anything about you personally. Once you're on their site, their own privacy policy applies, not this one.

Server logs

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may briefly keep technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested, to keep the site secure and running. These logs aren't used to build profiles or shared for marketing.

If you use a form

The contact form and the readiness check send what you enter (your name, email address, message and, for the readiness check, your answers) to us by email. The forms are processed by our host, Netlify, Inc. (based in the United States), which stores submissions on our behalf.

• Contact form: we use your details only to answer your message. Legal basis: your request.
• Readiness check: with your consent (the checkbox), your request is handled by our bookkeeping partner Slim Geregeld Administratie, who may email you about your application and their services. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
• We delete submissions once they're no longer needed, and at the latest 12 months after the last contact.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. Send us a message through thecontact form and we'll respond within one month. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
